Located behind a leather goods store on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, this cozy cocktail lounge is a refreshing addition to a neighborhood that’s been known for it’s stale social scene. Now on the circuit for nearly two years, Seamstress is a neighborhood go-to providing innovative tasty cocktails to Manhattan’s top tipplers.

Recently, we got to go behind the scenes for a first look at their new Spring cocktail menu and it did not disappoint.
First up on the menu was the Piña Rosa, a smokey mix of Ilegal Mezcal Joven, Corralejo Tequila, Roasted Red Pepper, Lime, Pineapple and Egg White. All we can say about this one is, “Si Señor”!
A little gin and juice was up next on the list. Well, not quite literally, but basically. The Clever Thoughts made with Woody Creek Gin, Rhum Clement Canne Bleue, Passionfruit, Lime, Chili and Smoke, is the perfect floral and citrus combo for spring.
Finally, the Venezuelan Revolution had us begging the bartender for “otra mas porfavor” (translation: “another one please”). This mix of Buchanan’s Master Scotch, Fino Sherry, Guava, Spiced Papelón, Angostura, Lemon Oil, Nutmeg is my kind of concoction for the perfect spring fling!
The Seamstress team, led by Luis Hernandez, knocked it out of the park with this new menu. There was something for everyone and when paired with their delicious dishes and darling decor, you can bet you’ll be spending a little more time with the Seamstress team than you think.
